Description:
OPGW cable is the short form of Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire. OPGW cable is suitable for installation on new power lines with double function of ground wire and communication. Especially for installation on normal voltage and extra high voltage power lines. OPGW cable can replace conventional ground wire of old power line with increasing fiber communication function. OPGW cable conduct short circuit current and provide lightning resistance.

OPGW Cable Structure: Central sealed aluminum-covered stainless tube
-- The optical fibers loosely places in a hermetically sealed Aluminum-covered stainless tube unit
-- Single or multi layer ACS and AA wires are stranded together around the central aluminum-covered stainless tube
