The transmission line fittings are applied on the pole & tower for ADSS and OPGW. They are designed to reduce the static stress at the support point of optical cable, as well as to minimize the wind induced cable motion such as Aeolian vibration, galloping and wind sway. They use a combination of structural double rods to reinforce and resilient cable inserts for reducing cable-bending stress. There is no other stress concentration, so that the optical fiber doesn't produce extra loss on the cable. Its grip strength is 10% ~20% of the cable RTS.
