There are many transmission lines and overhead optical cables, especially in places with dense lines such as airports, wind power plants, and substations. Since the overhead ground wires are very thin, they cannot be seen clearly or even under backlight conditions, which increases the difficulty and risk of the operation. Aviation Alerting Ball that serve as warnings are installed on the ground lines. When pilots approach live wires, they can use the brightly colored balls as a reference to accurately control the safe distance between the aircraft and the lines.
